Overall scenographic development and set-up, study and manufacture in millwork of the walls, furniture done in the workshop, entire assembly on site, painting of all volumes, tapestry, windows and showcases, glass covers, logistics, electricity and lighting of the space.

Heritage and Cultural Identity

Like the rest of Europe, sports occupy a significant place in Corsica, culturally, socio-economically and politically; their repercussions on the island’s society are considerable. This exhibition, (consisting of approximately 200 works: paper documents, medals, jerseys, trophies, photos, films, automotive etc..) will contribute, in particular, to the establishment of a heritage process and “cultural identity and legitimacy” in the sports field, at the level of men and objects, as well as a reflection to set some milestones, or more precisely to suggest some lines of research both for researchers, political decision-makers as well as the island’s sports and economic strategic actors.

A Staged Sporting Experience

A Journey Marked by Sports Symbols

The scenography is based on vast basic plinths that install the objects without sacralizing them. The signage exploits the markings and bright colors of the sports world and a few characteristics of what it wishes to demonstrate: podiums, tracks, arena, etc… The trajectory is visualized by the staging of uniforms – deep sea divers, pilots, polar explorers, etc… hence introducing each theme.
